Welcome to the online booking system for Edinburgh and Lasswade Riding Centre.

AS FROM JANUARY 1ST 2017 ALL RIDERS MUST BE REGISTERED THROUGH OUR ONLINE SYSTEM BEFORE RIDING.

This involves entering the details (which were previously asked for on our Rider Registration Forms) through our secure booking system. These details are stored securely and never shared with third parties other than in compliance with both the data Protection Act 1998 and our own Privacy Policy. As well as updating your contact information, this also makes future booking quicker and simpler as logging in to the booking system automatically enters your details for you at checkout. Registration works for both the Voucher and Card booking systems which are now fully integrated.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro credit/debit cards as well as PayPal, all through Sagepay, the company we use as our payment processor, so, when you are ready, CLICK HERE to start the booking process

First of all, choose your activity, then your riding ability ( please be honest!) and finally the date and time you wish to come.

Please do not overstate your riding ability as it is both dangerous for you and others and may cause you problems if you are not the standard stated.

The following may be of help you:

  • Child Beginner/ half lesson/ half trek - complete beginners up to rising trot (half/half – aimed at occasional rider or young children). Children wishing to progress should stay in for the full hour lesson.
  • Child Beginner - Complete beginners up to rising trot and riding without a leader and begin to canter.
  • Beginner Plus - Must be competent in rising trot and willing to start cantering.

  • Novice Plus - Competent in walk, trot and canter – can ride all ponies – jumping small jumps.

  • Trek Plus - recommended 10 years upwards - must be able to do rising trot and want to do a small canter.
  • Hacking - for riders who must be competent at canter

If the lesson states it is for adults, that is for riders 14 years or over. If it states it is for children, it is for under 16's. If it doesn''t state either, then anyone can join in. An adult may elect to join a child's lesson with a child but remember it will be geared towards children.

If you have chosen not to register and this is your first visit, please download our Rider Registration Form which you can complete before you come to save you time filling one in when you arrive on the day of your booking.
You will also need to bring your booking confirmation and any voucher with you.

Above all, we want you to be able to enjoy your experience with us.

When you come, arrive about 10 minutes before your allocated time slot. Hats are available, wear long trousers, bring gloves with fingers. We recommend waterproof wear as this can always be left behind if we get sunshine. Foot wear should be either wellies/trainers or shoes with a small heel, not any chunky shoes or buckles that may catch in the stirrups or flip flops.

There is a café and viewing gallery where parents or relatives may go to watch indoor lessons.

Please note. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy - in writing or by email to lasswaderiding@btconnect.com - no refunds will be given unless this 48 hours notice is given.
